New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance Financial Literacy Awareness ProgramBurlington, NJ – The New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance in cooperation with the New Jersey Department of Education, partnered with the New Jersey Coalition for Financial Education and its member organizations to deliver a financial education outreach program to high school students. NJCFE member organization, CreditWorthy, Inc. delivered a financial literacy awareness program to high school students at the Burlington Township High School. Wanda P. Hardy, President of Creditworthy, Inc. talked to the students about budgeting, saving accounts, and money management. Students asked many detailed questions about savings and credit”, said Ms. Hardy. “We are thankful that CreditWorthy, was able to make a presentation to our high school students. We look forward to continuing to work with Creditworthy, Inc. to deliver financial a financial education program to our students. Personal money management skills are extremely important during these financial times. BTHS has offered a personal finance course for many years.
