Balance Your Check Book and avoid Bank Overdraft Fees
What fees will you be charged if the bank pays your overdraft? The following are standard overdraft practices:
- You may be charged a fee of up to $36 each time the bank pays an overdraft with a limit of 4 charges per day.
- Also, a $7 fee my be assessed each day your account remains overdrawn for a period of 5 or more consecutive calendar days, up to a maximum of $98. This charge is in addition to any Overdraft Item Fees or Returned Item Fees assessed to your account.
